my dad has a house in hills of the umbrian region of italy and no matter which direction you go in, there are abandoned houses and even an entire abandoned village to explore. i took this in the abandoned village, July 2006. i have many more shots of abandoned places in Italy and i'll post more over time.
sure, a fence was put up around the village, but well all know those have never done much good. just watch out for snakes in the tall grass!
