my dad has a house in hills of the umbrian region of italy and no matter which direction you go in, there are abandoned houses and even an entire abandoned village to explore. i took this in the abandoned village, July 2006. i have many more shots of abandoned places in Italy and i'll post more over time.

sure, a fence was put up around the village, but well all know those have never done much good. just watch out for snakes in the tall grass!

This is kinda nice, I personally would have gone with a half sepia version and a little tighter crop, I think abandoned places are so cool, around here most of them seem so modern and don't have the same feel of yesterday. Good work
