Tri-X (+3)

this picture goes back to the summer of 2007 when i was working on my boxing project at gleason's gym. the first night i went to gleason's to scout around and shoot, i brought four kinds of film with me - ilford delta 3200, kodak t-max 3200, fuji neopan 1600 and kodak tri-x 400. this particular shot came off of the roll of tri-x, which was pushed three stops to 3200 during development. unfortunately, something was wrong with the developer at school that night and those first four rolls came out looking somewhat weird and streaky. sure, it could've been human error on my part, but i find it hard to believe that i incorrectly processed four concurrent rolls of film.

all in all, i shot twelve rolls of film for this project, but nothing from these first four rolls was used. i ended up shooting the remainder of the project on ilford delta 3200 and fuji neopan 1600, which i pushed one stop in development to 3200.

this post is the first time any of the pictures from the roll of tri-x have seen the light of day, except for the contact sheet. it's also the first and only time i pushed tri-x three stops and more or less the first time i'm showing anything of this roll to anyone, so enjoy!
